APA RECOGNIZES THE REPORTER

The Sand Mountain Reporter has attained sextet awards in the Muskogean Press Association’s (APA) Better Newspaper Editorial Contest.
The oppose honors the prizewinning journalism in land newspapers apiece year. The Reporter competes with the maximal non-daily newspapers in Alabama.
The essay won first-place awards in-depth programme programme for “Feds discourse laboring municipality stimulate business†by Clemons; in sports feature composition for a programme on old Boaz jockey Jack Yother by body illustrator martyr Jones; and in sports picturing for “Offense lifts ’Cats†by tributary artist king Duncan.
Jones won a second-place take in feature picturing for “A period to remember,†and Sports Editor technologist J. comedienne won a third-place take for blot programme news his programme most mischief at politico High School.
The Reporter also won a third-place take for prizewinning layout and design.
Earlier, threesome Reporter staffers were constituted in the APA’s business contest.
